Yeah its been quite a hit here.  A cross between Ugly Betty and High School the Musical.... I so wish I could sing.  I know its a little cheesy but it does make me smile.

I've often wondered about music and singing in a foreign language.  Part of the pleasure of singing is the words fitting and flowing to a melody, then its the catchy bits of the melody and then the meaning of the words.  I used to think that the meaning was an importnt part of enjoying a song but so often I sing without really listening.  The other day I was sininging Rhianna's new sone Rude Boy and realised that it probably wasn't appropriate for the supermarket

Come here rude boy, boy
Can you get it up
Come here rude boy, boy
Is you big enough
Take it, take it
Baby, baby
Take it, take it
Love me, love me
