The best month for selling?

When is the best time to sell a bike?  I've been browsing Ebay and the like and not seen many bikes actually selling.  Has the bottom fallen out of the second hand market?
 
Any thoughts views, hints or tips?

What are you selling?

I would have thought April/May is a good time to sell, getting warmer stayin lighter longer etc.

Selling the SV650, the Fireblade and possibly the Bandit and the Firestorm.  Simon wants a cruiser and I want a Bonniville

apparently, the used bikes market is going to europe altogether.
here in the UK you can find a good new bike deal, and you can sell yours privately but if you go to dealers, they are shipping their used ones into europe due to the strong euro.
very sad.

Gosh, no idea Tino.  I will PM the bike details to you so you can see what you think.  They all need tax & MOT, I know that for certain but we intend to get them sorted before selling so that we are certain everything is in correct order.

Wow it seems you're getting rid of all your bikes and starting off afresh. I have already done the cruiser thing having owned a Virago 750 for ten years. Which one has Simon got his eyes on?

hope is an xvs... they're fantastic bikes and need very little to be done to them.  a back tyre will last you 12000 miles!!
i like viragos the only problem is the tank is minuscle, it only takes like 7 liters or so.  i also like kawasaki cruisers.

Alba its not tyres that I worry about with Simon.... it will be the low pipes that get ground away
