Rider down - Bonnie_261
« on: 16, September, 2010, 07:28:54 AM »
Off coming to a sudden halt at a junction. Short legs couldn't keep the bike up and down she went. Broken collarbone. Bike is fine.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

them collar bones dont half smart. i bust mine when i came off about 3 yrs back... after about 4 weeks you'll think its better...IT ISN'T !

Dont go trying to push your bike up a ramp like i did...(then set back the healing progress by another 8 weeks) The reminder of the pain is nasty and you feel like kicking yourself afterwards

Constipation! dont know which is worse  :D

I know I cant rush the healing process, but Im cross cos have missed out on some lovely weather and rides out last week and didnt even feel well enough to go pillion.

Bike is tucked up in the garage with a hot water bottle and actually might get a clean instead of usual abuse.
