hi my name is allan aka magpie i used to be a nicotine addict i stopped on 24 nov 2009 and hopfully this will be the last time i stop :BangHead: I'm in between bikes at the mo but my next bike will be a 1000cc+ , no reason just not gettin ant younger and figure if i don't ride one soon i'll never do it

Welcome Allan and keep up the no smoking. It is possible. I managed on the third attempt and on Sunday it will be 14 years off them!

Welcome aboard, and many congratulations for stopping smoking.
For a 1000+ cc bike I recommend the Bandit 1250. Had mine for two and a half years now, nearly 30k miles, and I am very, very pleased with it.

My t'other arf would probably recommend a Sprint as he has had one for three years and commutes on it and does ride outs and long journeys and is very happy with it!
I thought I would throw that it to confuse!
