Sunday 31st Jan tax evasion rideout
« on: 28, January, 2010, 12:23:39 AM »
A bimble to the Bluebird cafe at Ferring for a love bead competition. String provided find your own pebbles.
Leaving the Ace at 10am and calling in at Box 11am subject to responses.
Not that we live in hope.
It would be nice to see a TLB`er about, after all it`s almost February.
Time to limber up for summer. :)

What we meant was what a better way to avoid doing your tax return by going riding on Sunday. Obviously you have to do it beforehand (if applicable) but it's a nice incentive to get it out of the way.

Sorry any ride starting at the Ace and going to the Box is already too far for moi given the amount of stuff I have to do at the weekend.   Besides being too old and full of cold to go biking in this weather!   ;D ;D

Sorry you missed it, lovely if a little cold weather, ice where cagers had splashed the puddles. Lovely roads through Windsor great Park and across to the A33 to join at the Wellington monument. On to Alston on the sublime A339 then a blat down the A32 to Loomies for a coffee and a pee.
A272 to Petersfield and then a hoon down the B2141 before a burn out in the Goodwood tunnel. On via Arundel to the top class Bluebird Cafe at Ferring. (go there the food is top notch)
Homeward bound on the A280/A24/A283 and the B2135 through Partridge Green before picking up the A24 for a hot chocolate at Box Hill, we returned via Giuliano`s back passage and Epsom downs to the Ace for a welcome coffee.
Only seven bikes turned out so there is room for more next time. :)
Eezyrida sorry to hear your ride is not up to scratch.

Giuliano`s back passage

Immortalised at last!

Giuliano - We know about the road's real name but a jokey young chap called it after you the first time we tried it out, and the name just sort of stuck!
