I'm Alec from South East.  I can't call myself an enthusiast, only a rider. 
 
I ride an old Deauville as my primary mode of transport.  I've taken it to a couple of places in the U.K. and through Europe once, but apart from that I commute on it.

With a 650 I don't feel too guilty about the ten minute commute to work  ;D , while still having enough power to get out on the Motorway when I need to.

Welcome to another Deauville rider.
Mines a 700, that's the one with no reserve tank (just a fuel gauge) and fuel injectors instead of carbs.
