we were back at the hospital at 10pm last night... little Toby was brought into this world at 14:49pm this afternoon, weighing 9lb's.
I am shattered, physically and emotionally. Mum and baby are staying in for a few days under obs but should be fine

Toby came to meet us at 14:49 on thursday afternoon, around 36 hours after waters breaking. He was in no hurry... there were some complications in delivery, which resulted in surgical procedures. Toby came out at 9lb's and 55cm's long, and it turned out that all the struggling during delivery was never going to work anyway cos his head was too big to pass through the pelvis!
Toby is very healthy and about the size you would expect of a 2 week old! Mum's a bit tender and sore as you could expect. Both are staying in hospital for observation but should be home saturday afternoon
pic is Toby at around 2 hours old...

Congratulations Trouty, looking at the photo it appears that he's exercising his throttle grip already!
Best wishes to all.
