Sorry - we were trying to get out to check the route out so I just copied and pasted from Word post haste before i forgot!
No road closures etc so far and teh Silver ball are expecting us.
Sadly it looks like we might need another intermediate leader as I will probably be in the Landy as my bike is definitely sick and no idea if we can fix it by next weekend.
I'm gonna come even if it is in the car though!

Hey all, sounds like something I will be doing over the next couple of years. Can't wait to get up and running and join you all, albeit as one the tortoises!
Things like the days out keep me going on the steep learning curve. I have decided to go down the road of CBT and restricted for 2 years. I think I am going to need as much ride practice as poss as the height thing does feel quite daunting at times!! I think the direct access would be hard straight off.
Anyway have a fab time on the 2nd and I look forward to getting out there with you all x

You will be very welcome Rabbit and it's just the sort of ride out to give you decent practice on a variety of roads and at a pace with which you feel comfortable.
It's on the first Sunday in August each year.

Thanks Weaver, I will be one of the back markers for a few I would guess!
I desperately want to run before I can walk but my height has made me have to take stock and my sensible head is getting me through a very steep learning curve!
I will get my CBT under my belt by the end of August and will then be looking for as many rides out as poss to get loads of riding hours under my belt

There are 3 groups. Advanced, intermediate and the pootle group.
The advanced group is
meant
to be slightly faster than the intermediate group but the intermediate group riders' beg to differ.
Actual numbers going?? Wont know actual numbers until we are there but we are estimating between 30-40 people.

Its such a shame, this years ride has only just finished, and we have another name to add to the list of riders we have lost, lets just make sure no other names get added in the coming months..
