As some of you may know im just about to move to a new house and as a result am loosing my trusty garage, in its place im having to cobble together a couple of garden sheds to make my own in terms of keeping the bikes secure and also giving me my own work area.
Anyone wanting to come along and help would be appreciated, especialy if you have a power drill or jig saw, the huts arrived yesterday and instead of large flat panle delivery they arrive literaly in hundreds of bits so its going to be a challenge to a, do it right and b, in the timeframe.
Anyone up for the challenge? am already very gratefull for Westie and Sparkys help... will organise coffee and pizza
Or come along and slag the shit out of us when we goof

... i can see the next post in Workshop:
How do i get a dent out of a petrol tank?
After trying to join 2 sheds together in the middle, and not taking into consideration that 1 side panel of each shed has been removed, the remaining sides were unable to take the weight of the now-combined roofs....

hut 1 is up minus felt and front doors but with a biiiiiig plastic shet over it, hut 2, is next weekend but we have made its base up already sop things may go faster, cant go any slower...
so far the floor base was way too weak, has to be renforced before use, the front gable didnt fit, overall floor area is 5 mm short both sides as well as various other things just not right, believe me, its been a challenging weekend, have to say big thanks to Tony and Andy, both a godsend.
only thing that went well, was laying the base assembly, perfectly level, we have the pictures of the bubble to prove, before Trouty tuts us

thought you liked a challenge
Wow! what a weekend, now I've erected a fair few sheds in my time and I have to say I was approching this project pretty positively, but I didn't account for the Rizla "I like a challenge" version of shed
OMG! what distructions there were had no resemblence to what was delivered as a shed or as I would have put it, a pile of wood, it was wrong in so many ways that I think it was funny, but we didn't really laugh much, swore yes laugh no.
I just hope that after all this wind and rain tonight that what we left looking like a shed, hasn't turned itself back into a pile of wood again
and next week we have to do some crazy jigsawing to connect the 2 sheds and turn them into some sort of workshopable area
Riz, please, stop it with the herbal stuff, this ain't funny no more......

at least the measurments would match up... best one was, take the roof support which is 1210mm long, err, none supplied, there are some a wee bit shorter, o yes the instructions say fit the 1210 straps, then cut 12mm off each end, grrrr
