Fantastic day but oh so physically demanding and I wasnt even riding!!  I was exhausted helping Westie keep all the bikers, pedestrian's and car drivers safe whilst speeding around London! Hats off to all the USRs, they do a grand job!
Also good to see Burger standing on the Hanger Lane roundabout giving us all a wave!!!! '<img'>
The only real time we have is now. All other times don't exist. Yesterday is a picture-postcard of a time that died. Tomorrow is a mind's eye promise that may never come.

Was there an unofficial count of riders......?

Loud cans save lives.

OK tell me how a boy can grow two jacket sizes in 7 weeks??  or did Moss bros fuck up the measuring???? and its the day before the wedding..

Organizing a wedding and a funeral at the same time was never in the fucking plan.

Thank God for Anti-Lock brakes!
Shortly after joining the A40 on the way to St. Mary's, two bikes went down on the slippery surface right in front of me.
My first thought was "S**t - I'm off" it all happened so quickly, but the brakes on the FJR pulled me up in a straight line with room to spare.
Without ABS I'm convinced I'd have been sliding down the road behind them.
Anyone know how the young lady who was hurt (She was pillion on the scooter) is doing?

She was, at that time talking wounded, or rather limping with a rather sore leg and a bit or roadrash thrown in for good measure. You were very lucky not to go down also, there was a nasty diesel spill right in the middle of the lane, bout 8" wide and about 12ft long, could have had a major pileup, thank the gods that didnt happen.

Be safe everyone
