Many thanks to Westie who organised a 1/2 day advanced riding at Cadwell today.
This is a learn how to brake and go round corners type of coarse, was brill, especialy learning how to intentionaly lock out the front wheel at 20,30,40 and recover, was interesting seeing how much of the front brake i use in normal commute

Should have some pictures coming in the post, if they are any good will post em up.
p.s. i hate that fecking chicane

Was a very informative day, learnt some stuff and scarred myself, so must of been good....
'>
"and now you are all going to do things that your not supposed to do, so that you know how far away from the limits of the bike you currently are, you will do things like locking the front wheel under brakeing" I heard up to that point and rest was just blah blah!! did he just say that I will lock the front wheel of my bike at 40 mph?
well I did it and ever since I keep braking to early for things!!!
'>
Please do not try this without all the other instructions that we was given at the same time, like how to right the bike when the front buckles under you!!!!
Was a great day, but a long day and when I got home I was truely shattered, (hugh respect for Yeti for the next 5 days).
Will continue this later, need to get back to work now

OK tell me how a boy can grow two jacket sizes in 7 weeks?? or did Moss bros fuck up the measuring?
and its the day before the wedding..
Organizing a wedding and a funeral at the same time was never in the fucking plan.

Cadwell park is everything that Yeti said it would be, it has every type of corner that you can think of, but it is much narower than it looks on the tele and I have every respect for anyone who has ever raced there, had some pics taken and I cant wait to see them when they come.
'>
I was hugging that tank right over the front as far as I could get and that front wheel just kept lifting over the mountain, I hope one of the pics shows that???

Me to...

But I'm disapointed they didn't take them from Coppice (one of the best corners in the world), Halls bends or the mountain.

All pics taken from Mansfield and the chicane "unfortunatly"
Must try harder, although it wasn't a track day and we only had 25mins of solo riding.

The rest was very good training.

trouty tip:
You're leaning the bike into the corner, but you're bodys leaning away from the corner... look where you want to be going(as you are doing) and let your shoulder lead the way

Thanks Trouty, I've still plenty to learn, but I will take note of that and practice wherever possible
