DVD Video and Pics required
« on: 24, August, 2005, 10:51:58 PM »
We finally have a structure in place that allows us to collect and process all the images and video that are floating about and place them on DVD.

Anna (one of our own) is to help with the editing and can take all formats from Lowres phone images to Hires video.

There will be just one place to send these and you must contact Anna using a personal message (PM) who will then give you an address to send them to.

If you're a guest then post your e-mail and we will contact you.

Images are best burnt to CD and posted whilst DVM recording tapes will be returned after digitizing, if you do not have the facilities to do that yourself.

And dont be shy even if it's a picture of your pride and joy on the day ......send it!

Note:
If you do want to put your video clips on the net, do so, but keep them short (1-2 mins max) otherwise it defeats the object of making this DVD and a lot of effort by a lot of people is going to make this DVD as professional as possible.

We hope to sell many of these and all the proceeds are going to the Red Cross appeal. MCN are willing to help us promote it when it's ready

That then leaves us with the problem of Time. You have just 10 days to contribute your pics and vids and that's that. So get your best ones together and contact Anna straight away.
If you have a technoproblem about formats or if you are not quite sure what to do then e-mail Steve Manning for help.
