Had a weeks vacation, went to So-Cal. Disney, couple of hot rod shops, the Drag Racing museum, Route 66, Las Vegas & Drag races....

Mon-Thursday in LA was mid 70's to low 80's, but bloody cold at night, like down in the mid 40's.

Vegas on Friday was mid 80's, Saturday 88 and Sunday morning was 80 when we left, and 98 in the desert, and 95 back in LA.

To be honest, NASCAR is VERY boring in real life, the tracks are huge, but you don't really see very much more than a procession of 180mph billboards  '>

Route 66 is still mostly drivable, long as your prepared!!THIS is a very useful start point. Most of the States you travel through have very helpful visitors info centers who will send you details.
