I read a while ago about a technique for removing damaged bolts on a car engine, dont know how realistic it is but feedback is most welcome.
Get a length of 1/2" hex steel bar, bout 8" long, weld the end of the bar onto the damaged head of the bolt, what type of welding i have no idea, Wildcat may make suggestions (printable ones). Idea is once shaft is welded to bolt head you can use a long shaft spanner on hex of rod, or maybe a socket on the end. Idea is once bolt has been unscrewed the rod is then unwelded from it and recycled on another damaged bolt. Is this practically doable or just another internet blog reduced to looroll status
