Well that sounds better but I was under the impression that we had to camp outside the area in the field and was only allowed in when the racing started?  Can anyone confirm this and also isnt the paddock area concrete??  Can we gaffer tape the tents to the ground!!! LOL!!! '<img'>

you wont have any problems in the paddock area. you WONT be able to get into the garages area (with a vehicle) but you will be able to walk through there. But we dont set up in that area anyway, we stay in the main paddock, which IS tarmac'd, and you will be able to drive into no trouble.

obviously, if its packed to bursting, then use your iniative and maybe park up near the kentagon bar instead of the main paddock... but i reckon you'll be fine.

Ok, am I the only one whose confused here??? ':p'

Are we pitching our tents in the field outside the complex (which i believe is free to use, no facilities and we cant get into the track until allocated times) or
are we allowed to pitch our tents in the paddock area (which i believe is concreted) or somewhere else in the complex where there is a bit of grass???
Please can someone clear this up???? '<img'>

OK..........

The paddock is hard standing and for Caravans only.  Any non club members will have to seek permission from the club to gain entry.

However

We are allowed to camp for free in the adjacent field but there will be no facilities.

My understanding is, if you remmember when entering Brands that when you turn left into entrance there is a field to the left where the cars normaly park, and the field on the right usualy has tents in it, this is the camping are as far as im aware, maybe Sir Trouty can update us.

Cheers

There seems to have been 2 different thought processes going on here and some questions have been missed along the way.
Yes Riz that's where the camping field is, so it looks like that's where we are, Christine's question was is there electricity in that field if not does anyone have a geni so the fridge can be used?
and another very important one was, at what time does the gate shut to allow us access to the field? did they mention that in your phone call Tanya?

p.s. good work on the take-aways,  are we nearly there yet???   '<img'>
Loud cans save lives.

OK tell me how a boy can grow two jacket sizes in 7 weeks??  or did Moss bros fuck up the measuring???? and its the day before the wedding..

Organizing a wedding and a funeral at the same time was never in the fucking plan.

The official word from my call is that there is no facilities in the field and I guess that means no electricity.....

I've no idea what a geni is.

There is no gate on that part of the field as there is access to the hotel at all times.  The gate is further towards the actual track enclosure.

Ok here's my suggestions!!

Friday night - we get there when we can and set up camp.  Someone goes to the takeaway or even better see if we can get them to deliver!!  Bring stuff for breakfast or if anyone is going by bike - let me know and i will get stuff as i'm coming down in the car.
Saturday - watch some racing and then us girls (?) or whoever wants to go - can make a trip to the store to get groceries and alcohol for big feast in the evening (everyone can put in money) and also more stuff for sunday breakfast.
Sound like a plan???? '<img'>
