The Unity Ride
« on: 19, August, 2005, 06:49:50 AM »
On Sunday we have been given the honour of hosting, what might turn out to be, the largest motorcycle ride ever through central London. The biking community encompasses all members of our multi-cultural and multi-ethnic society and we have the opportunity of showing what this community can do when we work together to achieve what we all believe in.

A group came to our city to kill and induce disharmony they have achieved exactly the opposite. By their actions they have made us stronger and more unified. They clearly do not understand what is meant when we say we are Londoners and we are British.

The Unity ride will honour those killed and injured by the London Bombings and celebrate the freedom given to us by our history.

Heads up everyone, it's going to be a great day.

Steve
