SPRING RIDEOUT 3rd April 2005
The Museum is about 100 miles from the Ace Cafe so it should take a couple of hours to get there if we take the direct route.
North Circ (A406)
M1 (70 Miles)
M6 (24 Miles)
M42 J6 (3 Miles)
Leave about 10.00 be there by Lunch
If anyone has a better route then lets hear it coz I hate motorways!

I know a route using A roads which we could use 1 way and suggest M40 for the other as it is slightly 'nicer'- than M1 and just as quick from the Ace. I will post at the weekend!

I'd agree with that, I dislike the M1 almost as much as the M25. The M40 is much more civilised as motorways go

was out riding bike at weekend so could not post before

4 options:
1) M1 up to junc 9, take A5 until it joins A45
2) M1 up to junc 5 then A41 to Bicester, B4100 to Aynho/Banbury then M40
3) M40 then M42
4) A40, A413 to Aylesbury, A41 to Bicester, B4100 to Aynho/Banbury then join M40
Can also cut off corner of the M40 by going up A46 then A45 - it also makes a change
So suggest one way up and a different way back
PS Mum lives on the way - anyone want to pick her up
PPS are we gonna do the names list on here too!
