well i think i can say without any doubt, that it was the worst bike show i have ever been to, was not much of interest there, yes i got to look at some bikes etc, but for the ride there and battle with the traffic on the way back it wasnt worth the effort for the show itself

very disapointed, and i know im not the only one '<img'>

I second that!

It would have to be the WORST bike show I've ever been too! I'm sure the toy expo next door would have been more entertaining?!

I for one, will be writing a complaint.  '<img'>

I went to the bike show in Paris, and it was fantastic! 2-3 time the size, and even hasd go-kart and mini bike, track. The show entry was only about £10.

At least I bought some goodies for my R1.  ':upside'

poor show mcn... not only was it really crap (one hall???) but you also killed the ally pally... shame on you mcn.  The toy show next door was taking up at least FOUR halls and was looking a much better prospect (especially as i could see the meccanno stand from my walk by).

on the plus side... i gor some berik roo hide gloves at a good price '<img'>

Yep I thought it was a bit crap as well, and that new Fireblade is pig ugly '<img'>

Did get a screen for the h**da and a new battery charger though so not a complete waste of time.

Certainly would have been pissed off if I'd had to pay for the tickets to get in...

So most are bitching about how bad it was yet most people got something they wanted?? ':p'

Hey, at least it was a few hours out of the house, chance to ride with some mates, have a look round, less than a pound to get in and nothing to pay to park the bike!! ':p'

Seems like a good deal to me??? '<img'>

Nah Stem I think it was at Excel. I also wondered how they did this. Presumably that took place in one of the other halls.

Not being a boxing fan, I think it's a pity they didn't just do away with the boxing to give us a bigger bike show  '<img'>  Pity also that our tickets didn't give us access to the Toy Expo, I would have enjoyed that

One other plus point, was that i got a good chance to check out the number plate maker who was there, check out his prices and quality.

And i have to say, mine are of much better quality at half the price! '<img'>

I thought the show was quite good. Amongst others I bought a new end can..so at least my CBR sounds abit better than a Sinclair C5!

I've always found the BMF show to be the best bet for shopping, especially the seconds clearance tents and Hein Gericke in particular, loads of bargains to be had there as most of the stuff just has cosmetic problems.

Damn good party for campers in the evening too, huge tent, live bands, etc, infact anyone thinking of going this year ?

yea! at last Simon   '<img'>

Was the first show that I've come away with nothing, unless you count getting PP her inner thermal gloves for our trip to Le Touquet and an Arai umbrella   ''  but it was a nice day out with mates, looking at and talking about bikes, then again after going last year I wasn't expecting too much, however it was better than last years show    ':p'

and I agree with John, if you want bargains you don't go to these shows, you go to a BMF show.   '<img'>
Loud cans save lives.

OK tell me how a boy can grow two jacket sizes in 7 weeks??  or did Moss bros fuck up the measuring???? and its the day before the wedding..

Organizing a wedding and a funeral at the same time was never in the fucking plan.

For the cheap admission I thought it was worth it.  Came away with 2 tax disc holders for a £10 and the free torch from the Highways agency
