Outstanding!  I want to be like you when I grow up.

Never grow up, it's much more fun.
To be serious, thank you all for your kind remarks, but before my head becomes too large to put my lid on, I would like also to thank you all, as you may not realise but without the support and help from The London Bikers and KAMG this would not have happened '<img'>
When I joined TLB I was a rookie on my little R6 chasing Hoppy, Stem, Yeti, Trouty, Tallguy, MatZX9, BJ, Dread & Sean around, bouncing it off the rev limiter trying to keep up with a huge grin on my face!
It taught me how to get the best out of a bike and stay safe and make lifelong friends along the way.
This year has been such a roller coaster, losing BJ was a huge blow, coupled with the string of accidents of Stem, Mr Rizla, Burger. MattP and now Dread. Two Senior Observers with KAMG were also involved in serious accidents, one is now back on his bike, but the other will not be riding for some time due to nerve damage in his left arm so it has made me even more determined to keep improving my riding.
The roads are like a war zone these days and with bikers being so vulnerable, we can't afford to relax, so I will keep training and practising in an effort to stay ahead of the game, and of course enjoy riding with you lot:cool:

A belated many congratulations to you, Grandma. I had no idea you are a relative newcomer to biking (if indeed you were a rookie when you joined TLB) and you have given me the determination also to take the advanced route.

Shocked to hear also about the KAMG accidents, especially after meeting some of them a month ago. If they have accidents, none of us are safe. I hope they both make a full recovery.

Incidentally, I saw Keith M on Wednesday and he has now retired and is planning to ride to Uganda! I might join him for part of the way, ie to Dover, or maybe beyond...
