Well, even the weather was good! After the high of the End of Summer ride, had to knuckle down to some hard revision of Roadcraft and the Highway Code for the retest today, hence the low profile on the board
Also needed tp practise figure pf eights at walking pace, not ideal on an R1 with no lock.
However, after lots of blood, sweat and tears during the last week and Jon Taylor keeping me guessing until the last moment during the debrief, I passed with the grade I wanted.....GOLD

So I am well chuffed, it was worth all the extra work, though, as always there is still more to do, onwards & upwards

A Qualified Senior Instructor at Der Nurburgring and an original member of Hopp Rider Training. He has been riding bikes since 1967 and qualified as police class one in 1982. Jon is a Staff Examiner for the Institute of Advanced Motorists. In 1987 he won the B.M.C.R.C. open 500cc and production 600cc championships including setting a new 600cc production race record at Brands Hatch.

The only thing(s) stopping our Christine getting her Police Class 1 certificate, is not being in the police and the thought of riding a BMW.

Well, I had to meet Jon at South London Motorcycles and for once I was early (nerves I guess!
'> so had a look around the bikes, majority BMW, loads of 1200GS a few R1100S (the only one I like but a tad heavy at 220kg) but even found a graphite 2005 R1 hidden at the back with no price tag
So I managed to resist the temptation
