Hi everyone,

I ride a Kawasaki 750 which is my first bike and I'm glad to join TLB. I've been riding for almost 1 year mainly on weekends and my best trip so far was from Barcelona to Millau in June with 2 other newbie. They had just passed the DAS so guess who was the "veteran" of the trip?

I'm joining tomorrow's ride organised by CaptMoto and look forward see you guys there. It's my first ride like this!
I live in Camdem, anyone around?

That was some trip for new riders - I wouldn't have had the nerve. There are a few people in North London/ South Herts on the forum so you should not have problems meeting up for ride outs.

I'll have a latte while you are at the bar. Have fun on the ride today.

Thanks guys. Can't believe I already missed my first ride! Somehow I thought the ride should start at 8:30am and not 9:30 as scheduled. So I got there at 8:10 to make sure I would be "ready to go" on time. I couldn't see anyone else (probably most of them were still waking up). It was strange but I decided to wait. After 50 minutes I gave up and went for a ride by myself. I thought perhaps the meeting point had changed and I hadn't checked the latest update. Well at least I now know how to get to Brands Hatch. It was not a good start was it?

Hey Tiago,

I'm a newbie here myself but having met some of the regulars I can tell you this is a good place to be.

It's a pity you missed Monday's ride - it was a good'un. Hopefully CaptMoto or someone will organise many more.

I will certainly be checking the "Days out/Events" thread regularly, and hope to meet you sometime.

Anyway, ride safe, and I'll have an orange fanta and a packet of Jaffa Cakes please!
