Curious now though, more votes for the ps3, but more people saying good things about the 360. why is that.?

Forget about a X-Box, or the PS3. The best fun you can have is on a bike. Wind in ya hair, freedom. Brings a smile to your face every time.
Save your money, and buy a bike instead.

PS3 doesnt have as many established racing games unless you want to play ps2 titles on it. I have a PS3 and i think next year we should start seeing some good stuff!

I've played the PS3 - it's a great console but the price is just way to steep....

my 'launch' console failed with the dreaded 3 red lights, a few months ago. It was outside the original warranty, and i did not realise that the warranty for that specific fault had been extended. So i broke the terms of the warranty and opened it up.
didnt fix it, so put it back together. You could tell it had been opened up, as the warranty seals were broken and markings on the casings where screwdrivers had been pushed in. I put it aside thinking one day i'll get round to sending it to a repairer.
i was then told that the warranty had been extended, but original terms of warranty remained. But i decided to try my luck with Microsoft, made the call, had it collected for workshop repair, and put a polite note with it explaining about the case having been opened as the console was out of its original warranty period, and this was prior to M$ extending it, and if there was a problem, please have a supervisor call me.
about 4 weeks later, it was returned, repaired. The rear usb port was now not working, but not a biggy, i appreciated the fact that they did it without making a song and dance. i plugged the wireless adaptor into a front usb instead
'>
that lasted a week. and it died again. i called M$ and explained, and also explained that the rear usb wasnt functioning on the consoles return. It got collected again. When you send a console back, you send just the console on its own, no cabling, no hard drive.
2 weeks later, a box arrived, and a letter from M$ apologising for the problems and that they have now sent a replacement console instead
'> complete with a new hard drive! So i now have a spare hard drive and a new (manufactured August 2007) console
'>
and a months free xboxlive gold.
thumbs up for the support, as far as i was concerned, i had breached the terms of warranty (and as far as i was concerned, it had been out of warranty anyway) so they could have told me to get stuffed
unfortunately, my wireless adaptor has packed in, no doubt i'll trail some long cabling in the interim.

Well....
My bro-in law has the PS3 i have the Xbox360.
He plays round mine more than i round his..
PS3 is starved of titles tbh whereby 360 has immense titles of course the looming Halo3...
Gears Of War in multiplayer is awesome and VERY addictive (especially if you like chainsawing Americans)
anyone fancying a game give me a shout....Gamertag below!

I used to play the original "Counter Strike" via STEAM on PC, i heard it was made xbox compatible, dont suppose you have seen a demo of it or played full package, only had my xbox360 a few weeks (funny that) so learning curve steep.
