'<img'>  He's ok but hurt quite bad

I just had a call from Ken saying that he was in Wrexham hospital.  This morning a car pull out on him from a junction on the A404 and knocked him off. He has a broken ankle and a big gash on his foot which needs operating.  He is gonna be in for a few days.

In usual Ken stlye his first words were 'Am gutted I'm gonna miss Unity I've been knocked off my bike. I wouldn't mind but I was even wearing my high viz, the bikes gone, they’ve cut my Frank Thomas off me and I need a new lid'

Am just relieved to hear his dulcet tones and hear that his cheeky sense of humour is still intact

I imagine he's in Wexham Park Hospital, not Wrexham - that's where I went when I broke my ankle skateboarding.

Ouch poor Ken.  Thank goodness it's no worse - though having to have an op is bad enough. Fingers crossed for quick recovery.

He said he was ok... the nurses didn't cut his pants off despite his best efforts

Stem, He said that he would let us know when he knew what to do.

Sh*t. When the hospital called this morning to tell me I couldn’t believe it! Not Rizla’a big Bro surely! I had to get the number of the hospital and call them back just to make sure ut was not a windup. I had some fun confirming your were there mate, as your not Ken are you.. lol (Don’t worry I have the same problem not being Lee too!'<img'>

Hope the opp goes well this afternoon, and I’m coming up later on after work. (Not that your read this before then)

Oh yeah, he must be OK, as when I called and spoke with one of the nurses I asked if he needed the bike recovered. The nurse went away to ask him, and when she come back and confirmed it’s all sorted, she also said that she had a message for me. She apologised for the message, and said the message from him was ‘I’m ugly’ lol.

huh... what is the damn world coming to:(:( yesterday I drove because of the rain, was behind this woman who was waiting at a red light, half way she decided she wasn't going to wait and just went on red... I can only imagine if there was a bike coming the other way.

I think I'll just buy a car and keep the bike for more relaxed fair weather weekend rides:(

Oh I thought you knew Ken wasn't Ken. You know secret agents have to have an alternate identity.

Managed to tap into the hospital security cameras and have found ken sitting up and looking well, CLICKY
