What makes a biker?
« on: 07, August, 2007, 05:40:47 PM »
I used to be a despatch rider in London when I was 17-20 years old,

I used to know (still do) the Hells Angels in Essex

was with and help start the Emergency Blood Runners (EVS) in Essex

did Toy Runs at Xmas with the Harley Riders Club GB

I have riden across Sweden, Denmark, Holland, Germany, Belgium, France and up as far as Yorkshire and down as far as The Lizard on a Harley

and then went on to massage the Superbikers at Brands Hatch and Eddie Kidd

I volunteered as one of the safety crew for last years Breast Cancer Walk with Londonbikers (would loved to again this year but may be a bit busy - but if im not I will do it again)

Still helping Eddie Kidd and injured bikers (but you dont like me talking about that stuff)

I still have and ride my ZX7r - but the battery wont hold a charge at the mo and I have to bump it every time I stop !

DOES THIS MAKE ME A BIKER ???

Yes.
Had anyone argued to the contrary?
Please give blood and write a Will.  No, seriously. Do it.

Salee.... you don't have to defend yourself.... but can understand why you might need to feel the need to.

You are part of TLB.....
People will forget what you have said and they will forget what you have done--but they will never forget the way you made them feel.

Who said that being a biker makes you a nice person? I have it on good authority that Hitler, Idi Amin, Attilla the Hun, Genghis Khan and Pol Pot all rode motorbikes, and those Hells Angels types aren't exactly a role model for your children!!

Crikey, I have my son for a week so I don't have time to come on the site much, and the whole place turns into a loony bin!!!
is that thunder i can hear?

Salee,

I think it was meant as a joke but it was said with a sarcastic twist and a forign sense of humour.

I consider you as a biker, It dont take much, Maybe this is an indication that the world aint a nice place and all people dont have the same giving nature as you. Maybe its something to consider when your next trying to sell your beliefs in some ones home?

Dont leave, ITs not what people want. Maybe people have other strong beliefs and dont like what your preaching and they want to preach their belives about not wanting to here what you say. So be it, sod em and move on. You dont have to demonstrate your a biker, You dont have to demonstrate your belives either, ITs all your choice.

I have spoken with Alba and she seems to think its funny, Wanted to see if anyone feels the same way as her. Maybe she is not as lucky as you, Maybe life aint rosy, maybe it is full of bodies and moarning, holding people up when they want to fall down, maybe life is full of cancer, depression and DARKNESS not light.

But you dont here these people saying how sh** life is, How hard it is, how much its a never ending grind with no light at the end of the tunnel? Just maybe.

Your a smart woman Salee, You have an open mind, Be the bigger woman and say sod it. Me and Alba will see you for a cuppa tea soon. '<img'>

Salee one thing i wan't to make Clear here is in no way we trying to run you into the ground, I Know and believe your a biker,

I also do believe you Choose Biker forums as you know you Can befriend People in the Longterm for Money .....

Look i Don't want to upset you ,you Sound well Spoken With Kindness, Warth ect.... But I think we can agree that Greed can Get a bit too far at times

Look at your Exit from TLB to your Re-Entrance

I stuck up for you In March Because i Don't Take in all that Others say , I told you i'd back you up if anyone Started and you Come back and what Did you Do you Stuck the Knife in,

I ignored everything Said about you that was bad untill you Came back to TLB and then, Well your First message Was ''Salee is Back But will be gone Soon'' !!!!!

And Your Web Explanation Well your Dates Didn't Match your Story behind everything You Were Long Gone before The dates in April, And Then you Have the Cheek to Request 2 Million From TLB or is that Shared in other forums as i Can't begin to think you Bounce back in here and Ask your So Called friends to Fund your future ,Let alone you not really giving them much if they Donated your 100,000 target  Some nice way you treat your friends

Salee if you want to know what only 2 Problems i have with you is your Lies and Greed , and your Half failed attempts in Blackmail

And this is no way Assumed this has Come into place naturally by the old fashion Facts what Can't lie

Remmember a Liar needs a good Memmory

Last words is That I'm not Going to try dig at you or insult you The words above are all true if they hurt you then mabee you want to ask yourself Why ?

I was Speaking My honest Opinion and thought Awareness had to be Raised as Wouldn't want My friends Been Blackmailed

And if they do then thats there own fault because they have been warned!!!!

Salee, you might be more 'acceptable' if you didn't:

1. Mis-quote people (this is a forum technicality note, not an accusation of re-wording).

2. Make multiple replies all in one go, all with seemingly a smirk on your face.  Some of us old farts have seen all this before, and believe me you are falling into a trap of believing yourself and railing on rather than examining what you read here more carefully.  When in a hole it would seem wise to stop digging...

I fitted a new battery only a few months ago so it cant be the battery and it just doesnt sound right either so thats why Im putting it in the shop when I get to Exeter

Im ok with bumping it and it gives you an excuse to ask blokes for a push    ehm!       '<img'>

and I got the last battery off the internet !!

Jim you seem very interested in my wellfare and I thank you for your concern
but I am not 'acceptable' only to the person who I am not 'acceptable' too

as for the misquote - see my apology to you in the thread in which I misquoted you

I make multiple replies due to the fact that I am not on this site all day and I do like to reply to anyone who justifys a reply
and Im sorry that you think I wear a smirk on my face - only glasses
and as for the rest of your statement - I am just standing up for myself

typed calmly and without a smirk on my face - just sadness in my heart that you perhaps might not see that     '<img'>

Nope a helmet don't make you a biker. A helmet helps make you a legal biker... assuming you also meet all the other criteria of course.
