started to have a look for accomodation, have a look at these

http://www.mediavacanze.com/IT/property.php?view=28176
this one says its for 12/16 people, 10 odd miles from ski resort(so right on the mountains), 500m from shops, near Bergamo, 20 to 140 euros pppw.

http://www.stayrentals.com/details/property.php?id=467
this one is on the Lake Maggiore, and its in english so read it yourself '<img'>

http://www.mediavacanze.com/IT/property.php?view=21655
this is up to 8 people, on the Lake Como, 350 to 600 euro per week, and you can see underneath the june period is almost all filled up!

http://www.mediavacanze.com/IT/property.php?view=28087
this is in Desenzano del Garda, Lake Garda, a place that i know quite well, for up to 9 people, prices on application, with swimming pool

the search continues....

Things are looking pretty dim for me Lee, Absolutley skint, need to shed some debt and get some people paid of this year. Want to get a few track days in and be fresh to make an impact with a decent team in 2009. Im afraid holiday's are out this year for us. Will let you know if anything changes but for a start I Cant afford to buy a new steed and I Cant justify the £1000 rental for the week,

Sorry, never know we might end up winning the pools and paying for everyone to come! '<img'>

Those two places that burger and alba have suggested look really good, one of them even includes a pizza making course!  Imagine that after a few beers? I'll have pizza hanging off my head and all kinds! PMSL
over the next couple of weeks Im gonna start getting more definative dates for travel. Still gonna go with the rock up and see ahats available approach on the en route overnight stops offs. Keeping the days runs to around 300 miles on the way there and back means
1 When you get there you have the whole afternoon to go out eating/ drinking/ exploring/ letching
2. if you drink too much, its ok to have a lie in the next day and play catch up at around 11  '<img'>

make a note of the dates again and pencil them in on the leave calendar... richard, now would be a good time to have a word with The Old Man if your poor... maybe he could find you an old thunderace/blade for a grand.. just like  THIS ONE

Nice one Lee.... if we weren't off to Spain you know i'd be on this trip, you are gonna have  a right laugh.

You got a plan for getting down through france yet?  I've bought me a big Naughty Lee size map that is gonna give me right bother with a hangover but it will be worth it.

What riding kit are you taking for the heat?  I've just got one of those Camel pack drinks holder things from Tchibo.  £6.99 for the slim back pack and another £10 for the bladder and the straw.
People will forget what you have said and they will forget what you have done--but they will never forget the way you made them feel.

Oh that was quite possibly one of the funniest things I have ever witnessed.... well it would have been funny if I wasn't collecting up bits of my brain off the floor still.  '<img'>

I can honestly say, thats about the poorliest ive ever been through drinking. That map, which was perfectly usable only 12 hours previously was a complete mindfcuk the following morning, in fact it tires me thinking about the whole episode   '<img'>

So poorly was he that he managed to get through a copy of Take a Break without railing at the peasants contained therein. Oh my sides, what a wheeze that was '<img'>
