Drei, sorry to put my 2p worth, I don't know you from adam, but doing your dirty washing in public is not going to do you any favours  because, if ever you wanted to be unbanned by LB what we can all read here, they can read too and they are not going to like you slagging them off. Be a man and go and have a one to one, face to face, with whoever pissed you off at their meeting place in Borough Market, you might not get a result (I know you won't) but at least you have tried in the most honourable way, instead of letting your steam off in here behind their back, in what could be seen as a cowardly way.

P.S.: A warm welcome to TLB from another banned LB member '<img'>

Believe me I tried and frankly it's not worth my tyre wear and petrol to go to their meet.

If they can read this by all means good at least more people will get the picture as they made a big hush hush about the whole thing.

I already got in touch with EMAG and will do the Advanced Riding, unless there is another one closer to London, as EMAG is in Essex Chelmsford so a bit of a way from London.

Burger mate I really don't wanna get into an arugment but if you remeber I saw an accident, the same I posted on this forum the one in Ilford, I descriped the lorry driver as being black and wearing hivis. I was questioned as to why I mentioned the driver's colour and was called a racist. After that I got very hot headed and let's say I never backed down or knew when to stop. My pride was hit in more thne one way so going to chat with them will be just too much.

Anyhow let's not bother with this anymore, if you really wish to know more you can just PM me. As my mum says don't do your laundry in public.

Now how the hell can I remove some stickers off my bike:):) ':devil'  hot water, wd-40? or maybe I can just use a permanent marker and add THE '<img'>:):)

Use a hair dryer to warm them up a bit - it makes the glue loosen a bit. A bit of WD40 will get rid of the sticky residue.

Then contact Trouty for some new ones.

No longer on crutches and looking forward to putting my bike back together....

Drei, Stick with this forum, you know your gonna get alot of stick any where you go but you will like it here. Like I said in the other forum respect for sorting out some more training and if you need a ride out call me, we will go for a spin at your pace. Thats the only way you learn is at your pace, only gifted people excel out of their comfort zones.

Going a little off topic here maybe!

I've always regarded this site as belonging to DarkMonster & Troutslayer.  As Trouty does ALL the maintenance for the forum, I'd take his recommedation for changing the style or leaving it.  Without Trouty, we've got diddely squat.

i know what it takes to host and run such forums as this and i have to take my hat off to Mr Trouty for a great job done. You may remmember he did ask for style feedback about 6mths ago and came up with some alternative, the general opinion was leave it alone '<img'>

ps updates are planned, the forum is about 3 releases behind the current 2.1.5x release which Trouty plans on updating to, however there is a risk that things could break and in the run up to the Unity ride he feels the benefits which include better spam protection are not worth the risk but things may change Q4 this year.

I agree keep the site simple and be friends, LB seems to have a self destructive mode going on at the moment where people start to get nasty when personalities esp the ones who are regular posters clash

Yeah, Keep it simple. it's been said before. Nuff said. Other sites can jazz up their sites, who cares. It's the content, what's inside that counts.

As for the other site, I think they're great. One of my drivers was trying to find this site (I have the stickers on my bike and lid) and he stumbled on the other site by mistake so joined that instead. Thank God for that!! (Any of you on the other site will know who I'm talking about if I mention he is in plaster at the mo, and he has one finger missing!!! Yes, he does drive a bus!!! )
is that thunder i can hear?

hot water and plenty of WD40 got mine off....took damn ages though and knackered the rear panel on the old SV so easy does it.

I've been over here too for a while now and I've been a bit quiet due to my bike being off the road for ages (gotta love Ducatis eh?).  I'm getting her back tomorrow so hopefully I'll be around for a ride or two with you guys.  I met a few of you on the TLB/LB France trip.....ages ago now!!

Hello again from another banned LBer  ':p'

depends how long the vinyl has been on... if its only been on for a few weeks, then it'll still be relatively soft so u should be able to peel it off with a finger nail to lift the edge.

if its been on a while, then warm it up with a hair dryer. you xcan clean any residue off with white spirits '<img'>
