I am so sorry Dodge

IMO, when talking about people who go out of their way to bring stress to the good people of this land I say 'there is only 1 em, fcuk em'

Mattp you need some serious help, anyone who dwells on something so long to the point of agreeing with something so abhorant, definately needs their head sorting.

Round our way it takes three of them to fill out their tickets. Or maybe they walk together for protection. They don't speak much English so maybe between the three of them they work tings out. Pat Condell - great stand up comedian and writer - told a joke about how disgusted he was to see the other day three kids beating up a traffic warden - in his day it only took one person. He said there's nothing funny about AIDS but if Thatcher had have got it "I'd have fuckin' laffed".
http://profile.myspace.com/index.c....9389495
He recently HUGELY upset the American academia of Berkeley Callifornia when one of them came across his speech about free speech and terrorists, passed it on to certain other people and hey presto, now he's persona non gratia in USA apparently. Free speech eh?
Hope you are aware of the fact that in many London boroughs motorcycles are free to park in residents parking bays and / or pay and display bays (for free) but lots of the traffic wardens in those boroughs don't know this so ticket people anyway. It's all in the London Bike Guide I publicised elsewhere on this forum.

Matt
I will forgive you.................
wouldn't this make a great you-tube clip
Modern Amphitheatre
Millwall stadium....................... full of drunken Millwall fans
there is a fanfare.............................
a hole opens in the centre of the pitch...........
an elevating platform appears with a small group of traffic wardens crouched on it....
then on the announcement board.. "These are the bastards that have just ticketed your motors whilst you are all in here".
what a pitch invasion that would be...............!
could be a weekly event, could introduce
"The rude British Rail employee of the week"
What have the Romans done for us.......?

I hate traffic wardens with a passion. They all speak much better english than you give them credit for and they take pleasure from making our lives a misery. They pretend not to speak English for their own convenience.
Yeah, these people went too far but if I had the guts, I would have chased the git that gave me my last ticket and wacked him.
As far as I'm concerned, each time they issue one of their fake or unfair tickets it's as bad as theft. The time and energy it takes to appeal these things is a nightmare. After endless letter writing you then have to trek into town to see an adjudicator!!! It's quicker and easier to pay the £50 and that's what they bank on us doing.

Had one who spoke very good English while asking me to move my car but when I tried to talk to him about the ticket his mate had given me he went all strange on me and walked away. I hope he did know English well as I was only using a couple of words over and over again
'>
It's a long story but I still had a pay and display ticket that was live even when he asked me to move on. I think he only asked as he seen the parking ticket in my hand and me standing beside my car. Bottom line was a letter to them and being let off if after. Waste of time and I hope the person who issued the ticket get told off for it. But I don't think he would have

A week after havin my car written off on West End road whereby we literally just got the kids out and a stolen crashed into our parked car and sent it hurtlling 20 feet or so towards a bus stop. Any way we were packing the hire car up to take the girls back to school which we parked on the verdge for obvious reasons ; fear of loosing a life - not just a car.. A MPV pulled up next to us (full of the little rodents) and asked us to move the vehicle or get ticketed, well, I am not known for my patience with idiots.. I remeber it started with the feck and off anyway the rant of a 4ft 11 scot was enough to send them packin.
