Well, you tell that someone to stop doing such a silly thing! I can't stand by and say nothing knowing that someone I may know may have broken a law of this land... '<img'>
Hope you are making jokes and have a smile on your face my Danish diplomatic friend. Long may your memory live!

Quite right Matt  - us law abiding citizens must chastise those who would undertake such naughty practices!    ':p'  '<img'>  '<img'>

filter all the way, Its expected!

As been said before, when passing stationary traffic I move across to the other side of the road and keep to 15mph, I had a close call the other day when a car pulled out on me while I was overtaking, but I just managed to swerve round it. I was pretty impressed with myself, lol

I know a nutter who filters on one wheel.

I've got a mate who rides and lives up in Halifax. I went up to see him in the spring and he took me round the yorkshire dales. Said he wanted to give me the "Yorkshire riding experience".

When he came down to see me last month, I thought I'd return the favour and give him the "London riding experience". So I took him to central London on a Saturday afternoon.  '<img'>

When we parked up after a couple of hours for tea and buns, he took off his lid and I have to say, the last time I saw a face that white it had a carrot for a nose '<img'>

Funny you should say that - we did something similar to that with a couple of Northern friends too - mind, they filter with the best of 'em now!   '<img'>

Yeh but we have to remember when we start to pull out to filter sometimes that actually we are in the car today and a Landy won't go through the same gaps as the bike!    Well it would but it upset a few peeps on the way '<img'>  '<img'>!

I ride my bike coz I enjoy it, not to filter.  I have filtered before, but I have also seen other bikers, and been on the back of bikes, who have filtered angerously and left me agreeing with practically every car driver around - that bikers are a bunch of w*****s.
Love my new bike!

As with many things - gaps are only tight the first time you go through them.  ':oo'
They loosen up with prolonged use. '<img'>

Hysterical. No really!!!
A friend of mine from the "country" came to visit us and we took him for a two hour circuit ride through and around central London. Stopped alot for him to take in sights (everything from Michelin Building to usual tourist sites and the quite wonderful Mudchute City Farm complete with Llamas - Pier Street E14) and all points in between. When we got back to my place he could not believe we had been all that way - 2 hours or so - and "we've only done twenty four miles".  YEAH but look what we can pack into 24 miles!!!!!!!!  In his neck of the woods you got.... trees. And ONLY trees.

I filter all the time.  Cover the rear brake and concentrate look ahead as much as possible and prepare to stop in a instant.  Its hard work but quite enjoyable in small doses.

Always filter! Speed depends on how fast the obstacles are traveling.

My journey to work is either from Enfield to Vauxhall across the City or from Chelmsford down the A12. Sometimes it's filtering all the way. If not, you might as well have a car.
If you are what you eat, I'm cheap, fast and easy.

Vauxhall, eh?
You work in MI6 or Metropolist?

How can you ride in London and not filter? It's how I make a very boring journey far more interesting '<img'>

Ditto! It's much more fun.

Always looking for gaps to squeeze through and be first at the lights. I should have the word 'suckers' written on the back of my bike.
