A friend of mine, who has had close ties with, amongst other bike clubs, the 59 club for many years, has invited me to this on saturday evening. A memorial service will be conducted by Father Graham, of the 59 Club to remember fallen bikers. They will be moving on to The Pavillion, Battersea afterwards, for fun and drinking and listening to stories and rock and roll tunes.
I'll be going to the memorial if it isn't raining too hard, not sure about the pub after though! Anyone who fancies the trip out to mix with some proper old bikers, let me know. I can't go to Bj's funeral as i'm working, I'll be paying my respects here instead.
I managed to find only a few references to the event on the net, it's not very widely publicised!!
