I am pleased to say, I have just gotten back from a great if perhaps short night at the ACE, glad to have met you if you said hello, sorry I didn't meet you if I didn't have time to get round to you.
I have had some great advise and support, thank you for your PM's.
The offending individual was there tonight and I found that with the help of my friends that I was a lot less inclined to go and smack him, lets just say he saw me and went off never to return, I am quite sure he knows what he has done and perhaps, what I am worried I may do.
I know I should rise above it, but when angered we can all react bad and I worry that I would. I hope to do this ride out, but what I will do is assess how I feel on the day, who has said they are going and then make a decision that's best for all.
Thanks once again.

I appreciate your sentiments towards your g/friends honour, but I think it's too long ago to let it bother you. I agree with Ann, the person in question will be more upset than you if you cut him dead.
BOTHERED. Move on and start coming out and riding with people

Lustfish - that is more or less what I told him too - by the way welcome to the forum - now get yourself in "welcome" and buy the drinks!

Dan, just seen this and not sure if the ride has already been and gone?
So to stick me nose in anyway! I'd suggest going and not letting the pratt ruin what you love to do. Do it safely and with riding and having a good time in mind only.
The twat is prolly that arrogant that they dont even care what they've said or done and are prolly doing it to somebody else right now without a thought for Jo.
Have a fab time with the people who's company you do enjoy and remember that if this person is that shallow that they only have guts behind a keyboard, then laugh and be glad your not as sad - and beneath it all prolly lonely as well, as they are

Enjoy! x

By the sounds of things this is something that may have been from the makings of Jay "founder" forum (lol). Sorry but I almost wet myself each time I see that little photo. If you don't know what I'm talking about, trust me it would make someone dieing on a street corner after being run over by a bus and having petrol put on his cuts laugh

Anyway, Dan, best of luck keeping your cool and it would be good to catch up for a ride
