Depending on how many would like to go, and for how long the options would be Thursday 6th to 10th at Inverardran House where we stayed last year.
For that weekend plenty of space, the following is a bit limited., but the cottage if free both weekends. Could do Friday to Monday i.e. travel up Friday, back Monday if preferred.(It is 500 miles each way but very doable!'<img'>
Check out the website: http://www.inverardran.demon.co.uk/index.html
There is a good pub just across the road, or evening meal can now be had at B&B., but no beer!

Whenever I could I would head up ths way in the car with my dad listening to REM and Deacon Blue.
This is a beautiful part of the world with some fantastically demanding stretches of road especially if you want to carry on for another 40 miles and head up to Oban.
Are we talking about 6th to 10th of June here Grandma.
Whatever the date, (depending on the outcome from my bike repairs) I would be interested in this trip it would give me a chance to se my parents. '<img'>

September
Had Deacon Blue and REM on yesterday '<img'>
Did the Oban bit when I did the Scottish National Rally at 6am., absolutely magic, hoping to do it again this year (a bit later in the day) as we didn't have time last year, but did go to Inverness from Fort William, still grinning '<img'>

If I have no band commitments on that weekend I may go up to visit my folks and do a couple of the runs with you guys. Will have to wait and see.

September is a bit unpredictable for the weather up there but if it's nice I can't urge you enough to have a run over the A85 to Kilmahog and then take a right onto the A821 (Trossachs road). Get to Aberfoyle and loop it back to Callander then head for Killin on the A827 and beyond.

And if you're going as far up as Fort William and the Great Glen road to Loch Ness then try a run up to Eilean Donnan Castle. Nice roads and scenery.

I'm all for going up Thursday 6th and coming Home on Monday 10th. 3 days up there to explore makes the long trip up and down more worthwhile. Had great fun last year despite being ill and I promise to keep up this year. The Iboprofen and RedBull incident which caused me to fly past Burger was a one-off ':blush':

Ill have another marsheen sorted by then if I havent dropped another lump in the Suzi.  ':p'
Evels route is a cracker the trossachs road takes in some of the best scenery you will ever lay eyes on.
Stopping off at Loch Katrine and looping back to Callander is Beautiful.
Mind you the rest and be thankful to oban and back across to stirling is another one.
Theres so much choice once you get out of the cities just the weather can make it a wee bit hairy. ''

There is a very common Problem on Suzuki's they are Know to go Bang and pop ,

Example Thruxton Races Riz K5 and Mr Rizla and Stu  ect....  Was not Very sattisfied as suzuki couldn't handle the race mabee the suzuki is good for handling but mabee they need a yamaha Engine for Reliability lol  lol ':p'

Ps I'd take Grandma's Advise its worked well for people get your self a Yamaha

Depends on room availabilty, John is very popular and does get booked up, hence we are trying to sort it now '<img'>
However, he will bend over backwards to fit us in, was brilliant last year, Burger and Yeti had the cottage and wanted first dibs on it this year ':p'

Right, booking with John tonight, I have made a provisional booking for you Burger.
If anyone else would like to come along, that will be fine, but you will need to contact John direct to confirm room availability, details on previous post '<img'>
