Mayday bike run

Is anyone going on this years Mayday run?
See Here
I’ve been on the last 3 or 4, and it’s a real fun day out. The number of riders that attend this are high, so be warned. There’s loads to do and see once you get on the beach front in Hastings, and the streets are lined with waving folk all the way up the A21.

I am going on THE MAYDAY RUN from Rochester, Kent.
My intended route is as follows:
A228
through:
CUXTON, HALLING, SNODLAND, LEYBOURNE, KINGS HILL, MEREWORTH
on to the
A26
through:
HADLOW, HIGHAM WOOD,
around
TONBRIDGE
towards A21 HASTINGS
to join the main ride out route and follow the main groups the length of the
A21
with the hope that I avoid the manic start point.
if anyone wants to meet up and join me on this route I would be chuffed.
Meeting points are as follows:
A228 over M2 at top of CUXTON ROAD STROOD parking on the bridge approach just
before the roundabout at around 8:30 am leave at 8:45 am
and on to the second meeting point which will be
A228 LEYBOURNE
at layby/truckstop just past the main entrance to
LEYBOURNE LAKES COUNTRY PARK at around 9:00 am leaving 9:15 am.
MAP DETAIL attached:
http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF....6&msa=0
cheers all in advance.

I'm going to try and flag most of the route the main group is going (Stu had a place to join where we only spent a couple of miles with the main group).
Anyway, I think the ride down is more for the kids (its a great time seeing them smile at all the bikes going past
'> ) Also, the fun don't start until the afternoon

It’s in the photos for the 2006 run. It’s a photo of my bike with me taking off the solo seat cover. You cant see my face, but I know my jacket anywhere. I can’t see my reg plate?
What photo are you talking about then?
