...600's: If I did not have a love for twins (sisters ':p' ) then I'd be on one. Great for insurance and I love the sound of a motor screaming '<img'>

Ive got the 650s K2. My insurance was ridiculously cheap for me at £215 FULLY COMP! Plus I added my mate for just £25 one month into the policy and I had 2 offs on my 125s.

Wouldnt a thought sv1000 would be much more than that considering I was quoted between 400-680 for a cbr 600f THIRD PARTY.

ZX7R is a nice bike......very wide at the front though and I found the rding position a bit odd.

Nowhere near as nimble as any of the 600's.

Takes a good rider to make one of these a fast bike.

Well, have to say thanks for all your advice.

It appears that I am now getting a '96 ZX7R.  Bit older than  I was aiming for, but its saved me a lot of cash from the budget and I think(hope) im getting a rather good deal.

If all is good then I shall have the bike from tomorrow night, so shall hopefully see a few of you out and about in the near future '<img'>

Do you have any specs from the bike?

I had dreams of getting the 94 GSX-R750 when I had my 88 GSX-R400 (the year was 1995). But would not think of it now as (Riz K5 will back this up) you look at the new bikes some come standard with Olins, Brem's, etc. Good luck with the bike and hope to see you out on it soon.
Hope you are making jokes and have a smile on your face my Danish diplomatic friend. Long may your memory live!

4-1 against the Manure and what a great win it was!

Specs as in whats been done to it?

Well...its a '96 N reg. ZX7R P1.  40,000 miles

I know the mileage is high, but it seems to have been very well looked after, the price was competetive and they're taking my smashed ZXR750 in part ex.

Cosmetics:
Custom Kawasaki race colours paint job.
Carbon air intake pipes
Undertray.

Suspension:
Full K-Tech revalve.

Engine:
K&N
Full Micron exhaust
Ignition advancer

Other:
Brand new Chain and sprockets
Brand new rear tyre
800mile front tyre
Front and back master cylinder overhaul
Compression "almost at factory specs"

Lots of receipts and MOTs.

More sadly is my budget was very low  '<img'>

I think I've got a good bike for the budget.

I used to love my ZXR750 so much, I had great fun on it, and never got left behind by the bigger bikes.

After about 3 years of not having much riding I think its a pretty good bike to ease myself back into the saddle again '<img'>
