So they’ve finale closed the burger stall on the Bridge? '<img'>

Well they couldn’t have a bunch of nosey bikers meeting outside a multi-million pound housing estate every week could they?

The tea stall has been open over 50 years, my dad has memories of meeting for a tea and a chat when he was into bikes in the 60’s.

RIP the burger.....

are you serious? feck! that really is a downer. Never mind we'll find another venue somewhere else.

After all, there is to be said that since they revamped that area with those poncey flats, the place lost his character anyway.
And wether you like it or not, it did eventually cramp our style and to me at least it didn't feel "bike friendly" at all.

So f### them, we got wheels and can move somewhere else, they are stuck in their penthouse boxes with wall to wall plasma wanking tv's and a dirty river to look at out of their window, whereas for us, the world is our oyster, or wherever our bikes takes us.

Any suggestion for a new meet in town which is still un-spoiled by yuppies?

I hear Battersea Rise is hip these days - plenty burger places there!

I went past last night after dropping the girls off, deffo gone,  '<img'>   I hope those w*n*ers are happy now.

I know there was some deaths over the years, but the majority of bikers respected the tradition of the place.
Loud cans save lives.

OK tell me how a boy can grow two jacket sizes in 7 weeks??  or did Moss bros fuck up the measuring???? and its the day before the wedding..

Organizing a wedding and a funeral at the same time was never in the fucking plan.

Yer we popped down on Friday night and bounced the bikes of the red line for a few minutes. If I had the time I would set up a BBQ and invite everyone down on a weekly basis. If you are giving the food away you dont need a licence to sell. Might tell everyone to bring there own meat and Ill cook for free.

Oh dear - the end of an era!

I've lost count how many cuppa's I've had from the stall!

Guess it's time to find a new place, as the summer is rapidly approaching! Is the stall still there on Blackheath?

A
Still getting away with it!

Yes, I ended up there this weekend.

That could be an option for South London, it's not far from the bridge either.  ''

Still there and doing a roaring trade as usual. I don't think they would be able to close it down, the only house anywhere near is the one on the corner opposite.

The Blackheath tea hut is lovely and there are some right caracters up there. Bit of a trek for us northerners though.

The bridge is south of the river? Well the burger stall is anyway..

Blackheath is only up the road from the bridge. About 8min on the bike
