How much do you need from sirella and I and how soon do you need it ?

We still not sure if will be able to make it, sirella has a new job at a school and may not be able to get time off!

I predict that she is going to get a bad cold on 15th June which will last for four days, but she will feel much better on 19th June so she can go back to work then!  '<img'>  '<img'>

Either that or she is gonna get kidnapped anyway!  '<img'>

Andy is in a twin and Slim hasn't confirmed he is coming yet, so perhaps that bed taken?

I really need deposits from those booked into the Bosayne re PM I sent a few weeks ago. '<img'>

The Pendrin operates an alternative system in that you don't pay until you get there or cancel so once I have requirements confirmed I will PM you the process to follow.

The only real time we have is now. All other times don't exist. Yesterday is a picture-postcard of a time that died. Tomorrow is a mind's eye promise that may never come.

Sorry gals, cant make it, Money is SOOO Tight, We have Alba's mum and Aunt coming over at the end of May so I need to conserve cash and take them out to see the sights and that. Then I want a summer holiday (no chance at this rate). and then there is my ever miserable birthday to consider, everyday is as dull as your birthday eh?

Then I need to see my mum, aint seen her for like 3 months (Her birthday is June 17th), then we gotta save for X-mass cos we gotta ship out to Italy, So Im pushing the boat out as it is.

And plus I very much want to do Scotland again and if its only one british weekend away it has to be Scoltand, That is the best trip I have ever done in my life.

So, Sorry, I will be there in sprirt.

Right, before this goes tits. If DanCBR and Sirella haven't booked with Pendrin, they can move to the Bosayne.
Weaver can you get hold of Dan please and tell him.

Sorry Pendrin, but I need to fill the Bosayne first. '<img'>

Right that's it bookings done. Routes being planned and by the number of people going we won't always be riding as one group but splitting at certain points and then recombining for lunch etc.
As I've only ridden with Yeti, Grandma, Andy and BJ (between roundabouts) I don't know your abilities, bikes, prefered speed, pillions etc.
Please let me know what you want this weekend to be about, where do you want to visit and particular roads of interest.

Col - thank you so much for sorting all of this out - you are a total star - first beer for you on moi - second on RO!  '<img'>  '<img'>

Just to say Karen (sure she won't mind me saying) and I are inexperienced bikers compared with everyone else though Karen has quite a lot of commuting experience.   I am happy to go down lots of country roads - but I cannot do fast speeds down them - I don't have the bike, the build nor the ability and I think Karen prefers a little slower also (though she has the build and the ability but not the bike nor the confidence!'<img'>.

RO, Terry, Karen and I have ridden quite a lot with each other but not much with anyone else that's going I think.  Mind RO can ride with anyone - even me! '<img'>
RO and I have radios so if I have a problem I can always tell him at least!   '<img'>

My bike is an auto with a top speed of 110 - but it'll out-do most others on the twisties!

Happy to follow the hooners - but if so as the tail-gunner, as my tranmission means I'm an elastic band.  I do tend to catch up though. '<img'>

On the other hand I'd be quite content to lead slower bikes down/back via 'shorter route' rather than 'fastest route' roads.  That can be more fun anyway.

Whatever.   '<img'>

Thanks for sorting all this out Colin.

I don't mind which group I ride in, but would rather not ride in a slow group, even if I get left behind, I wont be holding anyone up, and besides, I might pick up some useful tips.

Right, well I sort of have an idea of what folks be riding, but still no feedback on what you want do and where you want to go. So here is my plan.

Friday is just a simple ride down there! Leave from wherever you can organise yourselves and ride down to Dorchester to meet me at Mcdonalds (DT2 9DL) just off the Monkey Jump roundabout (signposted to Martinstown) on the edge of Poundbury. If you have never seen Poundbury it’s worth the ride through Dorchester to see what town planners can do with a bit of imagination and a set of plans from the 1800’s. Please aim to be there at 13:00 so that the remainder of the journey isn’t rushed. The last bit is the most demanding and we need to get there about 19:00 in order to sort out rooms, shower, change and stroll down to the pub for dinner. Plan the next days ride and groups.

Saturday breakfast, check weather forecast, kit up and muster for 10:00. As we are in two B&B’s and the road is narrow I suggest we muster in the car park around the corner. Chance for some group shots too. We either do route 1 or 2, back via fuel stop to arrive at B&B for 19:00, shower, change and stroll down to pub. Reflect on day over a pint.

Sunday same as Saturday but doing the other route.

Monday if you all get up early enough and the weather is good we will go back home through the middle of Dartmoor. The scenery is fantastic and it will be taken at the plated limit so not the quickest way home by far. The sheep can be fun to dodge and hopefully there are no piles of loose gravel this year. When we get to Honiton (fuel stop) there is the chance to partake in the best bacon roll and mug of tea in the West. Out on the A303 and up to Countess services for another fuel stop, where I part company with you, before you all head East.

Routes 1 & 2 being worked on but basically one is a NorthEast loop taking in Minehead and Porlock and the other is a SouthWest loop.

We ain't hurrying and we ain't doing motorways down there if you wanna come on the 125?

Col - I think we intend to go all the way on our planned route if that is OK?  It's a long ride anyway and a detour to Dorchester would unneccessarily prolong it.  Not to mention difficult to arrange a suitable time given different ride speeds etc - so we see you there arbout 19:00 OK???  '<img'>
