That's great!

The calendar is only there for events that you want to publisise to a larger audience - it's in no way a replacement for your own calendar or for ride outs that you're organising just for your own group of friends.

The France trip is a bit different as YBiDIB contacted me before the calendar was launched and asked if we could post about it on LB - in fact looking at the list of riders it's already full of LB and TLB members!

The London Calendar is there for you to use in addition to your own - it's a handy way  to see what's going on at The Ace or on any other pulic forum - as it happens all LB organised ride outs will be on the calendar, but I'm sure there will still be some that don't get put on there.

The IAM groups are also only going to be putting their big public rides on there. And that's exactly what it's designed for - a way for people who are maybe not members of any group or club or site to see what's going on, and then either join in or contact the group for more details, then perhaps join.

I'm concerned that some of you think this is a 'branding' exercise - it's not - in fact I'm now working on the blank calendar links at the start of this thread to remove the londonbikers.com links (it started as just a LB calendar you seen) so that there's no way I can be accused of that.

Matt - I have a feeling that no matter what I do you will never agree - I'd love to meet you personally have have a chat about it - the first few beers on me.

Yeti - thanks for moving the thread - I should have thought more sensibly about where to post it in the first place - hope I haven't stepped out of line.

Thats all good Matt and I look forward to meeting you on the French ride or maybe before '<img'> . Also, lets not waste internet space here and both agree. You have a very strong interest in getting the name of your site around (yes) and I have a very strong interest in writing a post when I think that my home is being used for something other than what I feel is the best interest of TLB.

I'm no Mod here Matt or anything like that BUT I do respect the site and don't use it like a call girl '<img'>

Anyway, I'm happy with what Trouty posted about the rideouts as we all would agree that sometimes you want to just ride with your mates  '<img'> and for any person new to riding please feel free to come on a ride as there are many people on this site who ride bikes for a living and some that teach.

Can we all feel the love comeing from TLB '<img'>
Hope you are making jokes and have a smile on your face my Danish diplomatic friend. Long may your memory live!

Wouldn't go as far as feeling the love... but I do feel like a newbie welcomed with open arms last weekend   ':]'

2 forums... 2 groups of friends... more ride outs...   '<img'>   (I'm easily pleased)

Personally, I would prefer only 'outside' organised ride outs like kills spills or the toy run to be mass posted across different sites.
I'm blonde, what's your excuse?
