Annual new year meet up
« on: 20, December, 2006, 11:31:31 PM »
Traddition is we have an Annual New Year meet up at Boxhill for a cuppa and chat...

But...

This year, seeing as OMD has kindly invited us all to his place for a bit of a party ':baa:'
There may be a few people a bit tooooooo hungover (concious) to be able to make it '<img'>

So...

Should we have the meet on 1st January, and those that can make it do?...

Or...

Put it off to the following Sunday when more will be able to get there?...

p.s
For the non drinkers CaptMoto is organising a ride out for 1st, so check his thread if you want to join in...

I voted for the 1st just cos I'm working on NY eve (and quite likely on the 7th as well).
Didn't we meet on the 2nd of Jan this year?

Yep the 2nd of Jan was that fateful day when I first met you all.

But this year 2nd is the first day back to work '<img'>

I voted the 7th as I am not even sure that I'll be in a fit state on the 1st..... we could all go to Saints for the hair of the dog on 1st?

We are having the family round for lunch New Years Day as we won't be seeing them at Christmas.  Will definitely try and get to Boxhill sometime next year though!   Not got bikes at the mo anyway!  '<img'>  '<img'>

The only real time we have is now. All other times don't exist. Yesterday is a picture-postcard of a time that died. Tomorrow is a mind's eye promise that may never come.

Do you travel up the M4 in the mornings? I do too!!!! But not on the Rizla I’m on my winter hack (TDM 850) I’m working near Heathrow at the moment.

I saw another Rizla the other day and thought it was you too, but it was a SV1000 Rizla.

I think you should do both days to give everyone a chance. I’d be up for the 7th.

It was an 06 Riz - I kind of assumed it was Ken but I've lost count of the number of Rizzes there are now. I thought I recognised the lid but I was busy putting my lippy on at the time so I may have been mistaken. Oh and my drivers side windscreen wiper is bust also so I couldn't actually see out of the screen. So that may have had something to do with it too.  '<img'>

Loud cans save lives.

OK tell me how a boy can grow two jacket sizes in 7 weeks??  or did Moss bros fuck up the measuring???? and its the day before the wedding..

Organizing a wedding and a funeral at the same time was never in the fucking plan.
