after a brief flirtation with some fine wines this week after Weaver chastised me for drinking Becks I'm now safely back on the beer, and much the better for it, certainly ideas of cross-dressing bikers seem a hazy and distant Shiraz induced memory...

My Christmas will be spent mainly in Cumbrian pubs eating strangely curling sausages, having conversations with people who's accents I can barely understand and drinking draught Old Peculier, yo, ho, ho, oh dear '<img'>

Cumbrian pubs are the best in the world. Come next summer I'm going to organise a trip up to that blessed county. God knows I spent enough of my formative years being dragged up fells by my dad, I know the area and its associated watering holes like the back of my hand

We're leaving christmas day with some turkey sandwiches !

my missus and I are fairly well seasoned winter campers, here's a pic of New Years eve 2004, in the Cairngorms, Scotland, -3 deg Centigrade '<img'>
