Barro, if poss can you put a map of this as I would go for it as it sounds like a good amount of miles '<img'>

Can you use goole map, it's now get the feature to do routes with multiple points. e.g. Sample France Trip

I luv Google Maps  ':lurve:'

Ive just left my friend a voice mail and I,ll get the details he used as it was a lot more proffesional than mine with favoured meeting points this side and the French side with road rules and need to know telephone numbers for Garages and Recovery Services etc.

Another point worth mentioning is that we also did this and covered a whole weekend this Summer which using Formule Hotels (Secure off road Bike parking and Accomodation) was approx £17 a night and thats per room not per person and each room sleeps 3 !!

Perhaps later in the year we can arrange this one as the Summer weather and some of the Coastal Routes are just different class !!

Sure mate.....
I,ll post the one I have from my work pc which has all the details.
Its a round route of approx 350 Miles but its got it all and the roads accomodate all levels of skill right from the top notch "Knee Downers" to the Novice.
If you guys dont mind, I,ll invite a mate of mine who,s parents live in Le Touquet (hes based in London) and he knows some of the best biking roads and routes France has to offer.
you will all absolute love it and its brings the very best of what Bikings all about !!

Is that mate who I think it is? Oh boy...  '<img'>

Box Hill will be a bit out of the way for me personally but Id be more than happy to meet anyone at the Ace and a great meeting point to amass the troups that are coming from different locations is

"Maidstone Services" which is more or less halfway to Folkstone and a good point to top up the bike fluids and tyre pressures so on and so forth for a few that might have forgotten anything (me last time)

More nearer the time I,ll post a few pointers in the way of a few do,s and dont,s = just a few tips and tricks that we stumbled upon along the way !

The Corner Man Marking System with Designated Sweep works great out there too !!

WDZ if you havent done it before mate you,ll have a day you,ll never forget it really is a superb riding location in all aspects.

I have no doubt he,ll want to join the ranks Brother Yam !!

I'm only 15 mins from Box, so anyone who wants to meet there first and then trundle down to hook up with others at Maidstone services is more than welcome.
Sort it out nearer time, with definite names and meets '<img'>

Never ridden abroad, so gonna be good, especially with you guys who have experience abroad  '<img'>

Cool.....we can have lets say Box Hill and the Ace Cafe as Initial meeting points for people on route and a combined meet at Maidstone for the Final Leg to Folkstone.

More detailed Timing and Meeting Point "name list" nearer the time with a link to EuroBooking will make it easier for everyone.

A quick brush up on French Road Law

Here are a few little pointers as to the French Road Traffic Laws. The French Police can and will instill these laws if they feel that the countrys hospitality and relaxed view of the biking community are being flouted blatently in the way of towns and villages (speed) and alcohol (bike outside a bar with a pint in ya hand) sort of thing.
The Paperwork and the Bulbs are a must as if you havent got them to show its an instant fine.
One last point of interest is= dont forget we will be riding on the opposite side of the road and over taking a fellow biker or a car on the right side of your target vehicle is classed as an "Undertake" and that results in a roadside fine and at worse will have a fellow biker (unaware) clattering in to you or tarmac surfing !! Dont let this put you off, you will be able to redline your bikes all the time as the routes are very outward and open, its the little Towns and Villages you are expected to behave in ;-)
