mind you on reflection, I don't know which would be worse. '<img'>

jesus I hope you have a strong stomach, indeed it's something we should all cultivate should this come to fruition  '<img'>  I'm seeing the potential though - BB, Alba and Anna - could this tie in with th charity boy-wax thing discussed a while ago at the Ace...?  ':p'

thats because I look ridiculous in it... ! '<img'>

(though also I don't have to worry about it being clean in case I have accident as my mum always warned me about)

Seriously though, picture this parody of the traditional bikers  calendar...

A female biker, standing next to her bike in her bike gear, looking proud, confident and self-assured. Absurd looking bloke dressed in skimpy girls underwear draped over said bike looking vulnerable and frankly ridiculous.

Maybe a womens charity might be just the ticket, as far as I know it's not been done before, probably with good reason...

Promoting the calendar would take some balls (literally) but if the same guys were prepared to go out on the road to some biker meeting places and some central london nightspots of a evening, in character, the appeal to women (and I would guess in Soho, some men...) to get out their purses/wallets out could be irrestible.

It might manage to appeal to more than just our own fraternity but it could also do wonders for promoting female bikers in general, TLB in particular and raise more money for charity than a traditional calendar might.

In an attempt to give the TLB calendar a unique selling point it might be amusing to have a picture of a group of blokes from TLB scantily clad in womens underwear ?  '<img'>

My next door neighbour (workshop not house) and best mate is a transvestite, he's six foot tall and built like a brick-s***house, and tends to wear ridiculously short floral laura ashley numbers. He was going to a concert the other night - all dressed up like a Christmas tree with spangly tights and everything and he came out with what must have been the quote of the century.

"I was going to wear a bra - but I didn't want to draw attention to myself"

Just had an idea...

What about combining both TLB and LB together for a calendar shoot ....Double the exposure for charity...double the interest...just to name but a few plus points..

Possible an idea for the end of next yr!!

well I still reckon that to sell a calendar to more than just us lot it needs an angle of some sort, maybe semi-naked men in suspenders isn't the best idea (but its an idea nonetheless) but if this is going to appeal to than a few dozen for friends and family I think it needs to be different somehow, we need some blue sky ideas, thinking outside the box, running things up flagpoles, ideas that don't have beards, etc, etc

Do as I did, play "Bullshit Bingo" in meetings together with your other colleagues in the know, meetings with consultants and project managers are best. See how many absurd management-speak sayings you can get into a meeting without anyone realising your taking the piss '<img'>

why not share them with us ? you can never have too many phrases to aid your workspace-specific perceptual abstraction '<img'>
