Trip to Canada = nearly 4 grand each. Happy saving!
Why four grand? Where the heck are you planning to go? Accomodation is cheap as chips over there. Well OK we like to spend a couple of days in a posh hotel in Toronto before we come home, but apart from that......................... or are we going for a month or so?

Oh - we're in1 Well I am!

4 grand cos its a top flight thing, posh hotels, guides all the way, broom wagon for stuff and top quality service. I want it to be a holiday, not one of the rings of hell

Trying to remember what our last holiday there cost. Mind we had a car hire so no problem toting all our luggage ourselves.
Shouldn't need guides though - very difficult to get lost in Canada!

They know where they are going so you don't have to look at a map, all the good vantage points and stuff. And its not just Canada, its over two weeks riding down the west coast of the States too, eventually meeting up with Dark Monster in the depths of California (and the home of skateboarding for Toddlas who like that kind of thing)!! Now that, to me, sounds like a perfect holiday

Sounds fantastic. I have done a few tours of Ontario - including one round Lake Superior so some of US too. Done Vancouver to Calgary as well. Years ago went from Toronto down to LA via, Cleveland, Chicago, Nashville, and Phoenix but I hear the West coast is absolutely spectacular - will be a brilliant holiday.
