Topic: Sunday 10th, this weekend

I'm thinking 0900 at Box Hill (fuelled up and ready to go for 0930) then whichever one gets the most votes. I have a route in mind for each - and I'm sure some of you have an idea of at least part of the routes i'm thinking of. Both are all day events, and slightly over 100 miles I reckon, nice and twistie whichever one we do. Ya know you wanna.

I have to agree with Si. For all you, lets get the clean polished bikes out for a night down the Ace/Box to talk Crap but wont ride to get better crew sign ya name up here!

Come on newbies. We aint fast, we aint stupid and Im damn sure it ill be a laff.

If your going out on the Raz saturday night change it to Friday, skip the ace and get the bike out Sunday. Best day of the week to get those miles racked up.

P.S Im not going as I will be in Yorkshire in the car having a beer with Lee and his missus as he will have alot of time on his hands. He booekd the weekend off, Packed the kids off, Made the missus clean the house get food in planned a route got the barbi out and everyone let him down! '>

I'd like to go and think that I'd learn a lot but I reckon that I'll be too slow.  So am gonna give it a go though if thats all right.

I'll be there at Box ready to go with a view to peel off if it doesn't work out.  If possible can I have the route that you are planning to take?  Skybaby & Pieman I'll PM my number.

I reckon that if we do this, go down to Rye, then after it's fairly easy to get to Brighton to join the fun, without getting caught up in the traffic!!!

Route will be as follows-

From Ryka's go left up towards the big roundabout for the A25

Turn left onto the A25- Godstone/Redhill/Reigate

When you get to Godstone (cricket green on your right as you enter and the speed limit goes down to 30) follow the one way system round to the right and follow A22 - East Grinstead.

At East Grinstead go over the mini roundabout, then look hard for the LEFT turn. It's well hidden and doesn't look like a main road. It's the A264 to Tunbridge Wells.

Tunbridge Wells is the hard part. When you get herefollow the signs for the A21.
It involves turning right down a hill when you get to the common, over a couple of sets of lights, right at the roundabout, then turn left at the lights. Then when you get to the big roundabouts, turn left onto the A21 (it's a long sweeping left hander, nearly 180 deg)

Follow the A21 until you get to the roundabout at Lamberhurst, turn LEFT onto the A262 for Goudhurst.

After Biddenden, turn RIGHT onto the A28 towards Tenterden.

After Sandhurst turn right onto the A268 to Rye.

When you get to Rye we'll be stopping at the cafe in Rye harbour, basically follow the bikes. There's normally loads of them there.

If there is enough enthusiasm we can go on to Brighton and be there for/ just after lunch quite easily from here, missing the traffic but seeing all the bikes and fun.

So you and Becca will be reunited at the back then Christine  '>  I think that because there's only a few of us going it'll be fine. Don't worry about the pace BB, last week was the silly ride. Looks like this week is gonna be a bit of a girls ride. DBT(R6) said she might be able to make it too.

Riz, you'll be okay. It's only 50 miles or so to Rye and there's a petrol station in the harbour. I know this route better than last weeks so I know where to find petrol stations.

Barry, we're meeting at 9am at Ryka's, Box Hill, Dorking. Leaving at 0930. Says it at the top.
