ok, as some of you may know, i have been in talks with someone who teaches a wheelie school, he was going to travel towards london to do a school especialy for us, but we cannot find anywhere to do it
so i have spoken to him once again and he has said that if we travel to him (stratford upon avon, where the bulldog bash is held), and we can fill all 10 places for the day, he will do a weekend day for weekday prices
if you are interested please let me know as there are only 10 places (can arange another day if people miss out), and also need to get the ball rolling,

well for some stupid reason i can wheelie his bikes higher and for longer than i can my own, if you saw me on one of his bikes you wouldnt think im as crap as i seem

Chap teaches power wheelies on stock FZ600's if i got the model right, normal cost is £175 but Andy gott he price down to £150 if we get a full group, was mega fun last time

This is important for me as well. I did the wheelie school a couple of year ago on Badit 12's, purely on the throttle.

Wheelies are not diificult on a bandit 12!!!

the way he runs the school is really good, instead of just saying, drop the clutch (which is crap because you first need to loose the fear of the bike coming up), he orks in stages, is all off the power but first gets you used to harsh excelleration, then get used to the bike lifting, then getting the bike higher, then carrying the wheelie, it seems to be a really good way to learn and you do find yourself progressing well,
so far i have narrowed it down to a saturday in september (as long as he still has some free, the quicker i get names the more chance we have of not loosing the spare days he has)

just to let you all know, have spoken to the bloke who runs the school, he has told me he has sat the 30th of september free for 10 people, and on that day there is also drag racing at another part of the airfield, so if we book that day we also get free entry to the drag racing,
sounds like a good deal if anyone is up for watching a bit of that

its getting frustrating! getting it up in first is no prob, but i'm never sure when i should try to hook 2nd, and everytime i do, down it comes, usually in neutral instead!

I think you'd be using one of their bikes so no chance of yours braking (unless you wheelie on the way home)

Andy when are you planning on doing this? If it's on a saturday ( and not a bank holiday), count me in, but no leaving at silly o'clock in the morning.

so far the plan is sat the 30th of september, there is drag racing at another part of the airfield so it will give people who want to come along but not joining in something to do during the day, will call the guy and check that day is still ok but if so i need confirmation from everyone soon

ok, just spoken to the bloke who runns it, there are only 7 spaces left on that day, he will however still do us the discounted price of £150 per person instead of £175 per person, so the first 7 people to confirm (6 after me) they can make it on that day, and get a peposit of 50% to me will get the spaces (please make sure you can make this day before putting your name down as deposits can be lost)
sorry if everyone doesnt get to join in this time but trying to arange these days is not the easiest thing to do
