I worked in a banana ripening centre where we housed around 50,000 40lb boxes of bananas and turned them from green to yellow during a five day period of heat and ethylene treatment....I was the production manager....

also...

Warehouse Asst. for Makro...

Stock Manager for Safeway

Space Planner for safeway, Morrisons, Budgens and Londis

Folk only ever ask about the banana job.....?

I was a Tin basher (Panel beater) for 14 years got fed up with insurance companies bullying you into doing stuff for no money (they still do) became a courier for a couple of years and decided that I might not live much longer if I kept doing it,
So trained as an instructor and been doing that ever since with a little bit of diversity along the way to supplment the meagre wages paid by teaching  '<img'>

engineering apprentice
motorcycle courier
payroll/accounts
software engineer/database programmer
systems integrator
painter and decorator

enjoyed each of them for a while but I find that any job gets a bit boring after a few years and I have to find something different to do.

Been doing the woodworking and restoration thing now for about 3 years or so, was great as a hobby but as a job it gets to be a bit of a drag sometimes.

Getting itchy feet just now and trying to work out what to do next... '<img'>
