Regarding thefts
« on: 12, July, 2006, 12:30:24 PM »
Following on from Naughty Lees break-in, and my response to him, it's made me realise that I probably do not know any of the serial numbers that are on any of my property.  I used to know this a few years ago, but everythings been changed now.

So over the next few days, I'm going to make a log of all of my belongings, their manufacturer, model numbers and serial numbers and brief description.  I'll keep the details in copied in sepearate places, because if I keep them in the puter, what use will that be to me if the puter is also stolen?  A reasonbly good back up medium is the use of fee email addresses.

If you had to report a theft, how much information could you give the fuzz?
