I know this may seem a bit gruesome, but following on from Colin's poll about having an accident, if you were to die in your sleep tonight how long would you lie there festering before anybody realised you weren't around?

I reckon work would phone a couple of times in the first week, then just give up, Mr W wouldn't take any notice if I didn't answer the phone for a week or so, and my folks only call a couple of times a year anyway, so they'd just assume I was on holiday.

I reckon I'd be fairly well decomposed before anyone broke the door down to investigate.

Organizing a wedding and a funeral at the same time was never in the fucking plan.

In my case that would be H that 'needs' me.

My work (although my shift pattern means I never start at 9am) wouldn't actually *do* anything except note it and reduce my pay. Eventually they may send a letter.

Well I guess you lot on here would be the first to notice. '' Work would take a few days as they expect you to phone them. Nobody else would be bothered, except the neighbours cat. '<img'>

My cats would have a nibble at the remains, then after I'd gone all inedible they'd be off through the catflap never to be seen again.

Work might come round and break in eventually, it would depend on whether the amount of money they owed me at the time was greater than the value of any of their equipment I currently had in the house.

Well this is a lively subject! and also very sad!
Sounds like most people dont think much of themselves in that no one would notice if they died!
Im sure most have family and friends that do care about them and if they dont - well find some that do!  '<img'>

Haha normally I'd say it'd be ages cos I can be at work for days (sometimes weeks! ) and no-one would know it wasn't normal - however it wouldn't be long at the moment, my housemates would find me when they came in to show my room to the next potential housemate!! Hmm, d'ya think they'd take the room...? ':p'
