Had my flat burgled
« on: 10, July, 2006, 12:40:05 PM »
got into town early hours of the morning, parked my bike at work and one of the lads took me back to my flat at wandsworth road. when i got up the stairs i noticed that my front door was already open and the light was on. i expected one of the lads to be in but i got a surprise when i walked in.
the large box of washing powder i kept on the windowsill was kicked all over my bed, all the drawers and wardrobes were open with kit strewn about the place.
I had a snoop about and my laptop and mp3 player have been taken. looks like they climbed over the roofs and got in thru the window, i havent called the police, i figure its just a waste of time. still a bit hacked off tho

phone them - you'll need a Crime Reference number for the insurance.

Sorry to hear this sunshine - there's some scum floating about this town... '<img'>

call the police, get a crime reference number, then you can claim for the lappy and mp3 (and possibly new carpet/tv/hifi? ) on your contents insurance...

shitty news to hear and can only imagine how annoying it must be '<img'>

(going to get knocked about for this one '<img'> )
Maybe those enforcment officers from Friday night at the Bridge could have done more for you if they had been walking the streets looking for these people and not texting (yes watched one of the specials do this for a while on Friday - OK, part for the texting and part for.... '<img'>  - after all she was in uniform '<img'> )

Anyway, hope that things sort out and you get back to the normal ( '<img'>  ) Lee talking about Poo and ways to fry someone wanting to take your bike ':p'

Watch a cop on telly last week do a guy for having 1.5 and not the min 1.6 on his tyres. Looked a little OTT as it worked out as 3 points and a £60 fine '<img'> But it did work in one way as I got 2 new tyres that were not needed as much as I was not wanting to risk the points and the money.

My point behind the post is I hope the police are as firm with the people who burgled your flat as they were with this guy and his tyres.

I hope who ever carried out this gets a very large fine and maybe a couple of months B&B  '<img'>

im sorry to hear that ..... and it angers me more and more each time i hear about loooooosers who think they can just take what they want from the people who are trying to do everything by the book, work hard, pay taxes and ultimately support the scum once when they are not in work - or in prison.... i totally fecks me off.

is it just gonna get worse and worse, or will we ever see a time when crime is low?!

Its not just whats been taken, its an entire invasion of privacy, and when it happens, it doesnt matter who tells you all the right things, it still feels like somehow you have been personally targeted.

I agree with you fully, if I catch a thief in my house I will make sure he will not be able to speak, tongue cut and maybe incapacitated for life, no joke, same goes for anyone trying to steal my bike. If you let them go they will just come back, if you beat them so badly that they cannot remember what happened they have no proof they were in your house.

This happened to me once and I knew who it was, I was waiting on  very important things in my life to happened, I swore to God that if what I wanted did not come as planned I was going to go and leave that guy in a wheel chair. He was lucky:) I got what I was waiting for.

The worse thing is these guys don't work, they probably claim benefits anyhow. I hate all idiots that think they can get stuff for free. My mate got done by some Irish guys with a laptop, they swapped bags and he got some yellow pages for £350.

Not long after I got here a mate and I were done by the same thing. Only good things was the stones that I was able to hammer the car with as they were leaving. Lost 300 notes but I had a fun night to make me feel better after '<img'>

I remember a couple of people back in NZ that seen me and a mate and thought it was better that they have our stuff. Unlucky to them was that I had some things in there that I was not going to hand over '<img'> (and still today I keep personal things in my bags  ':stoopid:'  ) Funny to see people judge you on your cloths and think easy win. Still if it was not for the things that were very important in my bag I would have handed it over. But somethings you need to stand up for!

Come on now! I see a theme here! Riz thinks the police are crap and dont do the things that the public see and concentrate on keeping us safe by doing bigger things behind closed doors.

Pack it in now lads!

The police do a job, Maybe not the right one, but they do do a Job!

Remember, Police officers are driven by their Borough Commanders who are driven by the departments, who are driven by political sway which is dictated by YOU PRATS!

If it was not for you and me complaining about people getting nicked we would still have some old fashined bobbies! But no, you have to friggin moan and moan, Then the politician set Targets for officers to nick people, So do they go out and do some detective work with the poss of not nicking someone or do they go down the bridge and pick on some easy targets to get their nick numbers and keep their jobs??>???? YOU DECIDE, you pay their wages and have a say. BE CAREFULL WAT YA ASK FOR!
