for the delivery of a tin of tyre weld to the ace on friday! i got to the ace a little early, so went out to try and sort out the bikes idling problem, and someone pointed out that my rear was flat
'>
westie to the rescue after JT made a call to ask him to bring tyreweld with him, and it held out for the journey home... actually, i was tempted to leave it until the tyre was completely used, reckon i coulda squeezed another 1000 out of it...
then of to see Mick at Essential Rubber... he started reeling out a list of what he had in stock... in the end, i just told him what the bike gets used for, and told him to stick whatever he recommends on there. He asked if i like it to drop into turns quick or progessively, i said quick, and he pulled a pair of tyres off the shelf and said 'these are what you need...' and jobs a good 'un. I must point out that Mick sorts out all the tyres at the Endurance racing, wether it be slicks, wets, inters whatever, so he really knows his way round the rubber - hence i left it to him to pick the tyres!

Barry, was it you I saw at Vauxhall Bridge, southbound the other day, might have been Sunday, about 5-6pm? It was 2 blokes on a Rizla K4-K5, didn't get a good look.
