When you say red do you mean red or are you being expressive for ginger?  Regardless, it ain't what you wear it's the way that you wear it.  Bright ginger does look gorgeous though.

No red as in dark coppery red, not ginger - it doesn't suit my skin tone.

hmm...all very interesting reading...

all blondes have ginger boxes?......what do gingers have?

Trig...I think you should go for something that reflects your personality...red or blue is always good...a bit punky...shows attitude and confidence...seeing as you said shaving it all off wasn't an option.

Anyway...I best go and check to see if my pubes have gone blonde..what with me being a ginge and all...

I think the colour options will have made it even harder for the lad!

When I was his age it was all I thought about....with the exception of the blue rinse variant.

That's decided it then. I'm going to have it cut into a Home Counties bob and dyed a mousey-brown colour and wear it with an alice band. Gonna throw all my make up away, including my beloved mascara, ditch the black clothes and wear something fetching like flowered calf-length skirts and cream twin sets, change my name to Edna or Vi, drink port and lemon and go and work in a library.

If you're going to work in a library you need a bun and glasses.
I quite often potter round the house in a bun and specs, I never answer the door though.

My god what have I been missing again, must stop going away for the weekend.

Trig talk to the hairdresser and make sure you like the idea before you go for it. When I went blond it took me about two weeks to get used to it then I loved it and won't go back.

Barry really is so young, poor thing.

Oh my hairdresser is one of my best friends - I always take her advice in the end. I've been blonde and I did really like it, but it was a pain in the fundament, maintenance-wise, and I'm not sure I could be fussed

Got the specs, but in order to have a bun I would need about 500 quids worth of hair extensions...not sure the investment would be worth it lol

hi annie,
im one of those who does pay attention to womens hair.
firstly, dont get too much cut off, you suit shortish hair but i recon you should grow yours just a little longer.
long enough so that you can either curl it a little or straighten it (just on your shoulder)
I saw a lassie this morning with such hair, she was wearing it down in a bob (it looked nice but it was long enough for her to up in a pony tail on the train) the fringe was longish yet not too thick and swept round the side of the face. simple but pretty.

with regards to colour, how about going light brown (but not mousey) and having a few dark brown and copper streaks?

'<img'> i recon you'd suit it though...
(the lighter streaked hair) but i still recon you should grow it a little.
why not get another poll on the go to see if you should grow it longer/cut it shorter etc?

i like women to have long hair personally.. the longer the better
