Let's get the dvd's sold
« on: 27, June, 2006, 01:37:20 PM »
After all the effort the production team has put in, we really need to reward them by making sure all the DVD's are eventually sold. So let's go back to all the websites where we intially advertised the event and let them know of the DVD.

If you feel that someone deserves a DVD in gratitude of their help then PM me and I'll sort something out.

Tracy and I will get posted the first 100 or so ordered by this Friday

I am meeting with the 7th July assistance team tomorrow AM to arrange to presentation of the DVD to the victims or their families.

If you dont fancy writing anything yourself then just cut and paste the stuff below.

On August 21st 2005, over 3500 Bikers came from all over the country to London in support of the victims of the 7th July London Bombings and in defiance of terrorism. This was the largest ever bike ride through central London and was undertaken with the full support of the Metropolitan Police. The ride raised an initial £3000 pounds for the victims and now we are aiming to raise a further £5000 by selling a DVD of the event.

The professionally created film is available now at the Unity Ride web site

http://www.unityride.co.uk

It’s only £6.99 and also contains background material of the ride and a substantial photo album.

Absolutely all the moneys raised will go to the long-term support of the victims and their families using the Red Cross and 7th July charity (  www.7julyassistance.org.uk )

I think its the Unity Ride one 'cos I can't get through on it either.  It won't accept bank card number as valid.  (& I only just made this one, so it should go through fine) '<img'>

i approached ace cafe at the tail end of last week, they got in contact, wanted to know more... then emailed asking about some more stuff, i tried to 'involve' them by asking what they would suggest, not heard anything since...

i'm hoping we'll be able to get to each of the meeting points at some time, complete with genny and telly, so we can screen it and sell it at the same time... that would be cool  '<img'>  however, time and distance has to be factored. this weekend is written off for me, which means the following weekend... maybe the bridge on the friday night, epping on sunday... i dunno!

Help - I would really like to buy this DVD.  However I am getting close to throwing the computer out the window.  I didnt have Paypal account so I clicked on the Credit card option.  Went through everything and then it said I still had to have Paypal account.  So I set up Paypal account and now it still wont let me buy without setting up a direct debit to my bank account.  I dont want Paypal I just want the DVD '<img'> .  So how can I get one please so that I can smile again

Loud cans save lives.

OK tell me how a boy can grow two jacket sizes in 7 weeks??  or did Moss bros fuck up the measuring???? and its the day before the wedding..

Organizing a wedding and a funeral at the same time was never in the fucking plan.
